What Is the Mazda Foundation?

The Mazda Foundation is a philanthropic organization that aims to give back to the communities we do business in. To fulfill this mission, the Mazda Foundation was established as a way to help the many critical non-profit organizations that already exist in the communities we serve.

The Foundation was established in 1992 and has since helped provide over $14.8 million dollars in grant funding to the non-profits that exist in the communities we work in. While we support a wide variety of nonprofit organizations, much of our funding goes towards supporting students and those in need of food security and workforce development.

One of the most celebrated aspects of the Mazda Foundation is that because the communities we serve are continuously changing, the efforts adapt to best meet the needs of the community. Funding, which is issued in the form of grants, is one of the many ways our company is seeking to build a better tomorrow.

Organizations that are interested in working with the Mazda Foundation will be pleased to find a simple and straightforward process. Interested organizations who would like to be considered for a grant simply need to apply for the grant via our application form. The Mazda Foundation accepts grants from May 1st through July 1st. Grants are awarded to organizations that have missions that align with the foundation’s objectives.
